Had one of these for a few days now and I have to say I love it! As always, being made by Sony its a quality piece of kit. The speakers are pretty good for a radio / alarm clock unit. You have to spend a lot more for serious quality. As a media player though it does the job more than adequately. The screen is good, but as with all LCD's you have to get the viewing angle right. The menus are quite straightforward and the quick set alarms are really quite clever.

Pro's of this unit are: -
Great screen
Good sound
memory card slot
1gb internal memory
easy to use

Cons
No headphone socket (although music or video from your iphone works with the headphones on iphone)
No remote

A few pointers to help you....
When you want to watch videos from your iphone, cue them up on your phone first then select video from the units menu. its written in really small print in the manual!
If u have the unit set to its lowest dimmer setting (night time sleep mode), it wont recognise your iphone, no matter how many times you try and plug it in again! Up the dimmer setting then plug it in...then set it to night time mode
There is no way to take the picture off the background of the clock. In the end I took a picture with the lens cap on and uploaded that!

Bought for my 14yr old son - fantastic now he gets out of bed himself in the morning - has a nature noise mode for the alarm which gently wakes you from your sleep and not some horrible buzzer. Not sussed if it charges yet though.

Bought as a gift for nieces 21st. It arrived the next day which was great for the birthday to arrive in time. I know she looked into the product so wont be disappointed + know from someone who only buys sony products that she will love it

Another great gadget for those who have to have the latest toys. Quite an expensive "alarm Clock" - but its so much more. Good quality speakers mean the sound is the usual warm SONY sound, plus it plays videos, musoc or pictures from either your iPod/iPhone or a number of memory cards - slots at the back! Programmable in so many ways/combinations, you need never be bored agin with the way you are woken up. But like I said, its for the "gotta have it" brigade, and is probably one item too far for the rest of you!

This Alarm/photo frame/ipod video dock is a neat all in one media package. The LCD screen is crisp so photos look clear and the video from ipod renders to a good size...the sound for such a small system is impressive..Internal memory of 1Gb is useful but you can boost this by usb sticks attached and memstick pro..up to around 32 Gb no more..only downside is navigating to the external devices to view contents...but that takes 2sec...by that alone this is the must have gadet especially as it supports iphone...
