I upgraded to a shiny new Nokia N97. Unfortunately, it's box contents did not include a case. A tad disappointed with this, as even the Nokia 5800 came with one. I did a little search on which cases are available for the N97. I Found this original Nokia one. It seems to be pretty rare on the availability front, with not many sellers, even retail stores not selling them. Its most probably sold in Nokia outlets, but with not many around. i guess it was easier just to look online. I'm glad i bought mine when i did because it became sold out a couple of days later.
This vertical case, allows for audio jack to be used, perfect if you are listening to radio or music. The simple design adds just millimetres to the phone dimensions. Whereas other cases have belt clips, and flip covers add bulk.
I say simple design, but at the same time its made with quality in mind, down to the cross stitching.
Recommended buy, for those who own a Nokia N97.

This is the second case I'm using for my Nokia N97 and I can say it is perfect. I previously had a leather case that didn't fit very well the phone, and, with time, it become larger and the phone was often in danger of being dropped on the floor. This one is the perfect mate, a little tight at the beginning, but this only to become a perfect fit after a while. Nice built and finishing, even it's not leather. The case protects very well the phone, no problems at all since I owned it. For me, it doesn't seem that the screen is not protected in the metallic part area. Inside the case that area and everything else is covered by a protective layer, so I don't see how this can damage the phone. Agree with the other comments, it doesn't look like a Nokia original if you consider the packaging, but is perfect for my phone and I like the look and quality. It has a very good ratio price / quality. Very pleased with it.
